1. About Us

Abi’s Food Centre (“we”, “us”, “our”) supplies food products, catering supplies and packaging to retail and trade customers across the UK.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order through our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree, you must not place an order.

3. Products

  • All products are subject to availability.

  • Product images are for illustration purposes only.

  • We reserve the right to withdraw or amend products without notice.

  • We may substitute equivalent products if necessary (unless agreed otherwise).

4. Pricing

  • All prices are shown in GBP (£).

  • VAT will be applied where applicable.

  • Trade pricing is only available to approved trade account holders.

  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time.

Role-based pricing is applied automatically to eligible trade accounts.

5. Orders

An order is only confirmed when:

  • Payment has been received (unless trade credit terms apply), and

  • You receive an order confirmation email.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders if:

  • A pricing error has occurred

  • Payment cannot be processed

  • Stock is unavailable

  • Fraud is suspected

6. Trade Accounts

Trade accounts:

  • Must be approved by us

  • Are subject to eligibility checks

  • May be revoked at our discretion

Trade pricing is confidential and must not be shared.

We reserve the right to amend trade discounts at any time.

7. Delivery

Local Delivery

Free local delivery is available for qualifying postcodes when the minimum order threshold is met.

Delivery thresholds may be amended for promotional periods (e.g. seasonal offers).

Delivery Times

  • Delivery times are estimates.

  • We are not liable for delays caused by third-party carriers.

Risk passes to the customer upon delivery.

8. Click & Collect

Orders selected for collection:

  • Must be collected during business hours

  • Must present proof of order

  • Should be inspected upon collection

9. Returns & Refunds

Due to the nature of food products:

  • Perishable goods cannot be returned unless faulty.

  • Non-food items may be returned within 14 days if unused and in original packaging.

Faulty or damaged goods must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

Refunds will be processed via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed by both parties.

10. Payment

We accept:

  • Debit and credit cards

  • Bank transfer (where available)

  • Cash on delivery (where applicable)

Payment must be received before dispatch unless trade credit has been agreed in writing.

11. Limitation of Liability

We shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Business interruption

  • Loss of profit

Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the goods purchased.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12. Product Use

Customers are responsible for:

  • Storing food products correctly

  • Following food safety guidance

  • Checking allergen information before use

We are not liable for misuse of products.

13. Website Use

You must not:

  • Attempt to access restricted areas

  • Misuse trade pricing

  • Use automated systems to extract data

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that breach these terms.

14. Data Protection

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

15. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our control, including:

  • Supply chain disruption

  • Transport delays

  • Government restrictions

  • Extreme weather

16. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
